There was celebration mood for Kannada film yet to release ‘Charminar’. The cinema will be a sure hit according to Telugu film producer Sridhar who greeted director cum producer R Chandru.

Sridhar from Hyderabad after watching two of R Chandru directed films has approached for remake of ‘Charminar’. He has already decided on the cast in Telugu as Naga Chaitanya.

At the formal announcement on Thursday producer Sridhar handed over advance money to R Chandru to direct ‘Charminar’ in Telugu. Sridhar showed interest in watching the first print and is convinced on the capacity of R Chandru.

‘Charminar’ is set for release on February 8 and next day the muhrut of remake is planned in Hyderabad. Producer Sridhar hails from Tumkur district of Karnataka. The subject of ‘Charminar’ is universal according to him. He has plans for Hindi language of the same subject.

The announcement of remake of ‘Charminar’ to Telugu looked like a success meet today at Green House Raj Milan.
